The Pharmacology degree programme at Bangor University will prepare you for careers in pharmaceutical and biotech industries, clinical research organisations, healthcare organisations and academic research. Pharmacology graduates may also be eligible for graduate entry into medicine.

Our research

Medicines-related research at Bangor University includes pharmacogenetic studies to develop new cancer drugs, clinical trials and economic evaluation. Our achievements have been recognised by our recent rankings in the Research Excellence Framework (9th out of 89 universities in terms of internationally-excellent or world-leading research).
