Overview
Thomas has worked for Bangor Univeristy since 2013 where his responsibilities now include teaching on the Contract Law, Tort Law, Commercial Law and Law & Technology modules.
Prior to working at the univeristy, Thomas was a software developer and publisher, specialising in developing interactive resources for children and young adults with additional educational needs. Having worked in the digital publishing sector, he is particularly interested in copyright law, focusing his research on the challenging relationship between law and technology.
Teaching and Supervision
Thomas is the Module Leader for the following modules:
- SXL 1112/2212 Contract Law
- SXL 2150/3150 Commercial Law
Research Interests
Thomas is currently undertaking research on copyright law, focusing on how the development of the internet has affected the effectiveness of copyright law and the economic rights granted to rights holders.
