Teaching and Supervision

Rudi Coetzer teaches in the following areas: Neuropsychological rehabilitation; neuropsychological assessment; bedside cognitive testing; mental status evaluation; diagnostic formulation; clinical case formulation; neuropathology; brain anatomy; cognitive rehabilitation; psychotherapy approaches in neurological populations; general principles of clinical neuropsychology; functional neuroanatomy.

Supervision (clinical or research) provided to students and candidates enrolled on the following training programmes: DClinPsy; PhD; QiCN (DoN BPS).

Research Interests

Rudi Coetzer's clinical practice and research interests include: Neuropsychological rehabilitation; neuropsychological assessment; psychotherapy approaches to brain injury rehabilitation; traumatic brain injury; OCD after brain injury; psychological adjustment after brain injury; social isolation and loneliness after brain injury; development of neuro-rehabilitation services; clinical leadership; & provision of neuropsychological services in under-resourced areas.
