Overview

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn delio â’r pynciau canlynol: • Beth yw Polisi Cymdeithasol a pham mae’n berthnasol i waith cymdeithasol
• Terminoleg a chysyniadau craidd • Datblygiad Polisi Cymdeithasol a Gwaith Cymdeithasol ac ymagwedd Gymreig unigryw at Ofal Cymdeithasol • Ideoleg a Lles Cymdeithasol • Y broses o ddatblygu a gweithredu deddfwriaeth a pholisïau cymdeithasol yng Nghymru ac yn y Deyrnas Unedig.
• Ystyriaethau cyllidol i ddarparu lles cymdeithasol yng Nghymru. • Tlodi ac eithrio cymdeithasol yng Nghymru • Amrywiaeth, anghydraddoldebau cymdeithasol a phroffesiwn gwaith cymdeithasol. • Gweithio rhwng asiantaethau wrth weithredu polisïau cymdeithasol
• Polisïau ym maes Iechyd, Addysg a Hyfforddiant, Ategiad Incwm, Tai a Digartrefedd, Cyflogaeth a Diweithdra, Y Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol Personol, Cyfiawnder Troseddol, Cyffuriau, Lloches ac Ymfudo
• Cymharu polisïau ac arferion lles ledled y Deyrnas Unedig • Polisi Cymdeithasol a’r Undeb Ewropeaidd • Dyfodol y Wladwriaeth Les

Cysylltir y pynciau uchod â gwaith gyda Phlant a Theuluoedd a chydag Oedolion - bydd y brif ffocws ar gyd-destun Cymru ac ar Bolisi Cymdeithasol Cymru, ond rhoddir ystyriaeth feirniadol i bolisïau a gwasanaethau mewn gwledydd eraill. Bydd rhai sesiynnau yn cynnwus cyfraniad gan ddinasyddion.

Assessment Strategy

-threshold (C) -I lwyddo ar y lefel hon, disgwylir i fyfyrwyr gyflawni’r deilliannau i safon sylfaenol. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn gallu deall a dadansoddi cyd-destun polisi cymdeithasol i lefel foddhaol, a gallu ymdrin â pherthnasedd y pwnc i waith cymdeithasol ar lefel sylfaenol. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn gallu trafod yn sylfaenol y theorïau a’r ystyriaethau canolog ym maes polisi cymdeithasol. Dylai’r myfyrwyr fedru dangos gallu sylfaenol i ddadansoddi ystod eang o bolisïau cymdeithasol yn feirniadol. Ar y lefel hon dylai’r myfyrwyr fod yn weddol gyfarwydd â chyfraniad gwaith cymdeithasol yn dylanwadu ar bolisïau cymdeithasol a’u gweithredu, a dylent fedru dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o’r cyd-destun Cymreig, y Deyrnas Unedig ac Ewropeaidd yn ymwneud â phroblemau a pholisïau cymdeithasol. Disgwylir i fyfyrwyr ar y lefel hon fod yn weddol gyfarwydd â’r sialensiau sy’n wynebu’r wladwriaeth les yn y dyfodol a gallu ymdrin â hwy'n weddol ddeallus.

Ar y lefel hon dylai’r myfyrwyr fod yn gyfarwydd iawn â chyfraniad gwaith cymdeithasol yn dylanwadu ar bolisïau cymdeithasol a’u gweithredu, a dylent fedru dangos dealltwriaeth sylfaenol o’r cyd-destun Cymreig, y Deyrnas Unedig ac Ewropeaidd yn ymwneud â phroblemau a pholisïau cymdeithasol. Disgwylir i fyfyrwyr ar y lefel hon fod yn gyfarwydd â’r sialensiau sy’n wynebu’r wladwriaeth les yn y dyfodol a gallu ymdrin â hwy'n ddeallus.

Ar y lefel hon dylai’r myfyrwyr fod yn eithriadol gyfarwydd â chyfraniad gwaith cymdeithasol yn dylanwadu ar bolisïau cymdeithasol a’u gweithredu, a dylent fedru dangos dealltwriaeth drwyadl o’r cyd-destun Cymreig, y Deyrnas Unedig ac Ewropeaidd yn ymwneud â phroblemau a pholisïau cymdeithasol. Disgwylir i fyfyrwyr ar y lefel hon fod yn gyfarwydd iawn â’r sialensiau sy’n wynebu’r wladwriaeth les yn y dyfodol a gallu ymdrin â hwy'n ddeallus iawn.

  • Dadansoddi’n feirniadol a gwerthuso amrywiol bolisïau cymdeithasol sy’n berthnasol wrth ymarfer ym maes gwaith cymdeithasol.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth ac yn gallu dadansoddi cyd-destun polisi cymdeithasol, a chydnabod perthnasedd a phwysigrwydd y pwnc i waith cymdeithasol.
