Cyfansoddi mewn Cyd-Destun 2023-24
WMC-4042
2023-24
School Of Arts, Culture And Language
Module - Semester 2
30 credits
Module Organiser: Guto Puw
Overview

Bydd y seminarau yn canolbwyntio ar faes penodol o gyfansoddi (offerynnol a lleisiol; ffilm a gemau; electroacwstig a chelfyddyd sonig). Bydd y myfyrwyr yn ystyried ystyriaethau damcaniaethol a thechnegol sy'n codi mewn gweithiau penodol o gyfansoddi cyfoes, ac mewn astudiaethau beirniadol perthnasol ohonynt.

Bydd myfyrwyr a staff hefyd yn cyfarfod fel un grŵp mawr gan gyfuno pob maes cyfansoddi a chael clywed cyflwyniadau gan staff, myfyrwyr a darlithwyr gwadd mewn meysydd sy'n berthnasol i bob ffurf o gyfansoddi. Byddant yn ystyried ac yn trafod ym mha ffyrdd y gellir cymhwyso'r ddirnadaeth a gafwyd wrth ystyried un genre o gyfansoddi i genres eraill.

Assessment type

Summative

Description

Astudiaeth gyfansoddi (gyda sylwebaeth ysgrifenedig). Astudiaeth gyfansoddiadol a ysbrydolwyd gan waith cyfansoddwr/cyfansoddwraig sefydledig a dangos dealltwriaeth ymarferol o'i ddull/o’i dull technegol, safbwynt damcaniaethol, pryderon esthetig a/neu iaith arddulliol a wneir trwy gydol y semester. Ni ddylai hyn fod yn pastiche na dynwarediad o'r cyfansoddwr/gyfansoddwraig a ddewiswyd, ond ymateb creadigol i waith y cyfansoddwr/gyfansoddwraig neu ddarn penodol ganddynt. Dylech hefyd gyflwyno sylwebaeth gyd-destunol sy'n cyd-fynd a’r cyfansoddiad.
