School of Education
Module - Semester 3
20 credits
Module Organiser: Jeremy Griffiths

Rhennir y modiwl yn bedwar llinyn craidd, fel a ganlyn:

Maes Craidd 1 Dehongliadau lefel macro o arweinwyr/arweinyddiaeth system

Bydd y maes craidd yn cynnwys damcaniaethau meddwl systemau, newid system a dysgu system. Mae ffocws macro yn pwysleisio effaith gyfunol arweinwyr/arweinyddiaeth system i newid, gweddnewid neu wella’r system. Ar lefel macro, cyflwynir arweinwyr/arweinyddiaeth system ar ffurf cyfres eang o ddisgwyliadau ac arferion arweinyddiaeth sy’n canolbwyntio ar newid a gwelliant ar raddfa.

Maes Craidd 2 Archwilio newid o fewn systemau addysg, ac is-systemau yn rhyngwladol

Bydd y maes craidd hwn yn bwrw golwg ar newid lefel system a’r polisïau sydd wedi fframio gwelliant ysgol a system. Bydd yn bwrw golwg yn benodol ar brosesau newid addysgol a rolau arweinydd/arweinyddiaeth system.

Maes Craidd 3 Dehongliadau lefel micro o arweinwyr/arweinyddiaeth system. Bydd y maes craidd hwn yn canolbwyntio ar rolau, cyfrifoldebau a swyddogaethau penodol arweinwyr system unigol (gan gynnwys athrawon, arweinwyr ysgol ac arbenigwyr addysgol eraill) o fewn cyd-destun neu leoliad addysgol penodol. Mae’r rolau a’r cyfrifoldebau hyn yn cynnwys:

a) eiriolaeth
b) gweithredu
c) hwyluso
ch) bod yn asiant ar gyfer newid
d) porthgadw dd) paratoi e) gwella
f) datganoli

Llinyn Craidd 4 Athrawon yn Arwain Newid System – bydd y maes craidd hwn yn canolbwyntio ar y ffyrdd penodol y gall athrawon o fewn system gyfrannu at newid a gwella. Bydd y maes craidd hwn yn ystyried sut y gall y gwahanol fathau o gydweithredu gan athrawon greu’r capasiti i newid a gwella. Hefyd, bydd yn ystyried y rhwystrau rhag arweinyddiaeth system yn ymarferol.

Mae arwain er tegwch a rhagoriaeth yn ganolog i’r llwybr arweinyddiaeth arbenigol hwn, lle’r ystyrir mai tegwch yw’r sbardun polisi canolog sy’n cyd-osod ac yn clymu’r holl bolisïau addysg eraill yng Nghymru. Yn rhy aml o lawer, ystyrir mai mater ychwanegol yw tegwch, prosiect neu is-set o flaenoriaethau polisi sy’n delio ar wahân â hil, rhywedd, rhywioldeb ac ati. Mae cyd-osod polisïau yn hanfodol er mwyn i’r tegwch fod yn fwy na dyhead neu ôl-ystyriaeth. Fel y dengys systemau addysg uchel eu perfformiad, rhagflaenydd rhagoriaeth yw tegwch, nid ei sgil-gynnyrch. Felly, mae angen i’r holl arweinwyr o fewn, rhwng ac ar draws y system gyfuno’u harfer o gwmpas tegwch a rhagoriaeth a bydd y llwybr hwn yn canolbwyntio ar y sgiliau a’r galluoedd sydd eu hangen i weddnewid system.

Assessment Strategy

Trothwy PASS C- i C+ ystod 50-59% o wendidau mewn dadleuon a darllen a gwybodaeth gefndirol gyfyngedig

Teilyngdod B- i B+ ystod 60-69% Mae ffocws yr ateb wedi'i strwythuro'n dda, cyflwynir dadleuon cydlynol da ar y pwnc ond gyda rhai bylchau yn y wybodaeth

Rhagoriaeth A- i A* ystod 70-100% Gwaith manwl gywir sy'n dangos darllen ehangach a pheth mewnbwn gwreiddiol

Learning Outcomes

  • Arfarnu’n feirniadol sut mae prosesau ac arferion arweinyddiaeth system yn cael eu rhoi ar waith.

  • Asesu rolau a chyfrifoldebau penodol arweinwyr system unigol a deall y sgiliau arweinyddiaeth penodol sydd eu hangen.

  • Cymharu gwahanol systemau yn rhyngwladol i nodi a gwerthuso gwahanol rolau arweinyddiaeth system.

  • Gwerthuso’n feirniadol gydweithrediad athrawon fel ysgogiad ar gyfer newid lefel system a’r rhwystrau a allai atal newid rhag digwydd.
