Bangor University end-of-year Gala Concert

The University’s annual end-of-year Gala Concert will be held in Prichard-Jones Hall on Saturday evening, 3 June at 7.30pm.

The concert will feature bands and ensembles from across Bangor University, including the jazz band, the string orchestra, the Music Society choir, the chamber choir, the concert band and the symphony orchestra.

As part of the evening, several students will perform as soloists. MMus student in Performance, Ellie Billingham will play the first movement from Elgar’s cello concerto in E minor. Final-year music students Tia Weston and Harry Sullivan will play the second movement from Haydn’s Trumpet concerto in E flat major and the finale from Saint-Saëns’ Symphony no. 3, respectively.
