Access to Procurement Contracts
The University is at liberty to purchase from a wide range of commercial public sector framework contracts which offer goods and services at preferential rates.
The University Procurement Strategy requires that all relevant purchases are made via these available contracts unless there is a clear business reason to the contrary.
The University is a subscribing member of the North Western Universities Purchasing Consortium (NWUPC) and enjoys full access to a variety of commodity contracts. The Consortium is divided into a number of commodity groups and there is a Bangor University representative for each group as listed below.

NWUPC Contracts are available for a wide range of products for daily use including computer consumables, copier paper, mobile telephones, office stationery , and car hire.
