Mr Dmytro Babelyuk
Overview
Dmytro Babelyuk is a Ph.D. student in health economics at Bangor University supervised by Professor Rhiannon Tudor Edwards, co-director at CHEME, Bangor University, and Professor Deborah Fitzsimmons Director of Swansea Centre for Health Economics at Swansea University. His project is focused on NHS medical workforce shortages, especially the potential of innovative medical associate professions to become a gamechanger for the staffing issue.

Research Interests
Dmytro's PhD project is focused on exploring the opportunities for wider implementation of innovative medical associate professions as a solution for massive medical workforce shortages within the NHS.
This docotral study is sponsored by Hywel Dda University Health Board.

Dmytro was born in Lviv, Ukraine.
He has a medical background. After the graduation from medical university, Dmytro worked as a neurologist in Lviv Regional Hospital and as a Head of Medicine in a local professional football club called Rukh Lviv.
