Following a period of teaching Welsh and French at Ysgol Pantycelyn Llanymddyfri, I joined the Trosol translation company with responsibility for translation and marketing. Since then, I have taught French and Welsh in several secondary schools in Gwynedd and taught Welsh for Adults on Wplan courses, I have managed the Cabinet Support Team for Gwynedd Council and have worked as Project Manager in School Reorganisation.

I am currently a lecturer in Childhood and Youth Studies as well as Marketing Academic Lead for the School of Education and Human Development.

In November 2021 I was appointed the role of Director of Welsh Matters in the College of Human Sciences at Bangor University.
