Research Interests

My areas of interest include the relationship between society and health, and the consequences of the social determinants of health for experiencing physical and mental well-being. In particular, I am interested in the impact social class and material and economic inqualities play in determining both physical and mental well-being. Related to this, theoretically, I have a keen interest in critical theory, including Marxism and neo-Marxism, Feminism and Critical Race Theory, as well as critical psychological approaches.
