Teaching and Supervision
I supervised postgraduate students from 2020 to 2022 at the University of Stirling for the Msc in Health Research. During my PhD at Swansea University, I worked as a student demonstrator facilitating lectures in 5 different modules for the Bsc of Sports Sciences. I also delivered lectures as a guest lecturer at the Federal University of Sao Paulo for the modules of physiology, anatomy and kinesiology; including the following: 'Anatomy and Physiology of the Cardiovascular System', 'Heart Rate Variability', and 'The Skeleton System Anatomy'. Prior to that, I worked as a student demonstrator at the Federal University of Sao Paulo for the modules of Clinical Cardiology, Clinical Neurology, Women's Health, Anatomy and Molecular Biology.
Research Interests
My research focuses on population health, patient and public involvement and co-development. I have experience conducting research in child and adolescent health involving chronic conditions, physical activity and cardiovascular health. I am currently developing skills in health systems and co-developing systems interventions.
