Commenced career teaching - primarily economics and mathematics - in secondary schools in Clwyd, then taught in Adelaide, Australia before returning to lecture in the further education sector in Wales. Subsequently moved to the HE sector, initially to Y Coleg Normal before present post at Bangor University.
Secondment with economic development agency, Menter a Busnes (based in Aberystwyth) promoting post-16 education in business related fields.
