Overall aims and purpose
Mae hwn yn gwrs sylfaen mewn sgiliau dadansoddeg busnes sy'n cynnwys dulliau ystadegol, casglu a dehongli data, dosraniadau tebygolrwydd, ffurfio a phrofi rhagdybiaethau, cydberthyniad a dadansoddiad atchwel. Mae'n canolbwyntio ar ddatblygu'r sgiliau hyn yn Microsoft Excel.
Course content
Trin mynegiadau algebraidd a datrys hafaliaid; Casglu, rheoli a chyflwyno data: samplau ac arolygon; Ystadegau disgrifiadol: mesur lleoliad a gwasgariad; Mesur ansicrwydd gan ddefnyddio tebygolrwydd; Dosraniadau tebygolrwydd: y dosraniadau Binomial, Poisson a Normal; Dadansoddiad o ddata sampl; amcangyfrifon a chyfyngau hyder; Casgliadau ystadegol: profi rhagdybiaeth; Ymchwilio i gysylltiad ac achosiaeth: dadansoddiad cydberthyniad ac atchweliad.

Subject specific skills
- Quantification and design. Data, and their effective organisation, presentation and analysis, are important in economics. The typical student will have some familiarity with the principal sources of economic information and data relevant to industry, commerce, society and government, and have had practice in organising it and presenting it informatively. This skill is important at all stages in the decision-making process.
- Numeracy: the use of quantitative skills to manipulate data, evaluate, estimate and model business problems, functions and phenomena.
