Bydd y themâu fydd yn cael sylw yn y modiwl yn cynnwys:

Gwaith Cymdeithasol a'r Gyfraith: Y Fframwaith Cyfreithiol, datblygu deddfwriaeth, hawliau a chyfrifoldebau Cyfraith Gyhoeddus a Phreifat mewn Gofal Plant Diogelu plant: Atal ac Asesu Diogelu plant: Diogelu Brys Plant sy’n 'derbyn gofal' & Gadael Gofal Diogelu oedolion: Oedolion mewn risg Gofal yn y Gymunedol i Oedolion: Dyletswyddau a phwerau Asesiad & Gwasanaethau ar gyfer Oedolion & Gofalwyr Deddfwriaeth Galluedd a'r Trefniadau Diogelu rhag Colli Rhyddid Ymyriad gorfodol o dan y Ddeddf Iechyd Meddwl 1983 a symud i fan diogel o dan Ddeddf Cymorth Gwladol 1948. Deddfwriaeth a wnaed yng Nghymru – gan gynnwys y Mesur Iechyd Meddwl (Cymru) 2010, Mesur Strategaethau Gofalwyr (Cymru) 2010, Mesur Iaith Gymraeg (Cymru) (2010) Mesur Codi Tâl am Ofal Cymdeithasol (Cymru) 2011 a Deddf Gwasanaethau Cymdeithasol a Llesiant (Cymru) 2014.

Gall yr wybodaeth sy'n ymwneud â chyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol yn y modiwl newid yn sgîl deddfwriaeth newydd a chyfraith achos.

Assessment Strategy

-threshold -(C):Dylai pob myfyriwr gyflawni'r isafswm safonau gofynnol. Dylai'r myfyriwr trothwy ddangos lefel sylfaenol o wybodaeth a dealltwriaeth o gyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol a lefel sylfaenol o allu i gymhwyso'r gyfraith i sefyllfaoedd ymarfer. Dylai hefyd fod a'r gallu sylfaenol i ddadansoddi yn feirniadol a deall goblygiadau cyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol ar gyfer gwerthoedd ac ymarfer gwrth-ormesol.

-good -(B):Dylai'r myfyriwr ddangos gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth gadarn o gyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol a lefel gadarn o allu cymhwyso hyn at sefyllfaoedd ymarfer. Dylai fod capasiti cadarn i ddadansoddi'n feirniadol a deall goblygiadau'r gyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol ar gyfer gwerthoedd ac ymarfer gwrth-ormesol hefyd.

-excellent -(A- / A *):Bydd y lefel hon yn cael ei gyflawni fel arfer gan fyfyrwyr sydd ar y brig yn unig. Dylai'r myfyriwr rhagorol ddangos lefel soffistigedig o wybodaeth a dealltwriaeth o gyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol a gallu parhaus a chyson i ddefnyddio hyn mewn sefyllfaoedd ymarfer. Bydd y myfyriwr ardderchog yn dangos gallu cynhwysfawr i ddadansoddi'n feirniadol goblygiadau cyfraith gwaith cymdeithasol ar gyfer gwerthoedd ac ymarfer gwrth-ormesol.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth feirniadol o’r gyfraith o ran ymarfer sy'n seiliedig ar hawliau, ac ymarfer dinesydd-ganolog a pherson-ganolog

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth o'r fframwaith cyfreithiol yng Nghymru

  • Dangos y gallu i gydbwyso gofynion gwerthoedd gwaith cymdeithasol sydd weithiau’n gwrthdaro â gofynion sefydliadol a/neu gyfreithiol

  • Trafod cymhwyso’r gyfraith yn gymwys a datrys problemau gyfeirio at y ddarpariaeth cyfraith statudol yn ogystal â chyfraith achos
