Module WXC-2233:
Cyfansoddi Blwyddyn 2

Cyfansoddi Blwyddyn 2 2022-23
WXC-2233
2022-23
School Of Arts, Culture And Language
Module - Semester 1
20 credits
Module Organiser: Pwyll ap Sion
Overview

Adeilada’r modiwl hwn ar astudiaethau Cyfansoddi Blwyddyn 1, ynghyd â chyflwyno syniadau a thechnegau newydd ar yr un pryd. Bydd pwyslais cyson ar arbrofi mentrus a newydd-deb creadigol, gan weithio gydag arddulliau anghyweiraidd (cyn-donyddol, ôl-donyddol ac anhonyddol), ynghyd ac ymdriniaethau newydd o ffurf. Ceir gwaith damcaniaethol (gwrando, dadansoddi a thrafod pynciau) ynghyd a gwaith ymarferol (gweithio drwy dechnegau, cyflwyno enghreifftiau, datrys problemau), gan ganolbwyntio ar dechnegau ac elfennau penodol - rhai yn newydd, a rhai yn gyfarwydd ers modiwl Cyfansoddi Lefel 1. Nid yw’r modiwl hwn yn addas ar gyfer myfyrwyr sy’n dymuno cyfansoddi mewn arddulliau hanesyddol neu pastiche. Yn ogystal, bydd y modiwl hwn yn gosod y seiliau ar gyfer ymgymeryd a Phrosiect Cyfansoddi yn ystod y 3ydd flwyddyn.

Assessment Strategy

-threshold -Mae'r cyfansoddiad yn dangos peth dychymyg creadigol cyfyngedig, gyda rheolaeth gyfyngedig ar y deunyddiau cerddorol, ac ychydig o ddealltwriaeth o bosibiliadau adnoddau (cerddorol a lleisiol). Ychydig o dystiolaeth sydd o ymdriniaeth sy'n gyffredinol ddeallusol.

-good -Mae'r cyfansoddiad yn dangos lefel dda o ddychymyg creadigol, a rheoli ac ymhelaethu'n dda ar ddeunyddiau cerddorol, hyn yn seiliedig ar allu technegol wrth ddefnyddio adnoddau (offerynnol a lleisiol). Ceir tystiolaeth hefyd o dreiddgarwch deallusol.

-excellent -Mae'r cyfansoddiad yn dangos lefel uchel o ddychymyg creadigol, ac arwyddion o lais cyfansoddi unigryw yn dechrau dod i'r amlwg, rheoli ac ymhelaethu'n fedrus ar ddeunyddiau cerddorol, a meistrolaeth dechnegol ar adnoddau (offerynnol a lleisiol). Ceir tystiolaeth hefyd o lefel uchel o allu wrth feddwl yn gysyniadol, dealltwriaeth dreiddgar o faterion perthnasol, a dulliau a chanfyddiadau gwreiddiol.

Learning Outcomes

  • Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn hyderus yn gweithio gyda dulliau a deunydd cyfansoddi;

  • Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru arddangos peth gwreiddioldeb gan ddechrau symud tuag at annibyniaeth creadigol;

  • Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru defnyddio amryw o dechnegau cyfansoddi perthnasol;

  • Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru gwerthuso rhagoriaethau cyfansoddiadau penodol a gyfansoddwyd mewn arddull gyfoes, gan gymhwyso y rhain o fewn ei gwaith eu hunain;

  • Erbyn cwblhau y modiwl dylai'r myfyrwyr fod yn medru ysgrifennu cerddoriaeth sy’n: a) llwyddo i greu cydbwysedd o ran undod ac amrywiaeth; b) arddangos cynildeb; c) gwneud defnydd o dechnegau a astudiwyd ar y cwrs;
