Overall aims and purpose
NODYN Ar gyfer 2020-21 bydd y modiwl hwn yn cael ei gyflwyno mewn bloc 6 wythnos.
Disgrifir plentyndod yn aml fel yr amser hawsaf o fywyd, ond, mewn gwirionedd, mae babanod a phlant yn wynebu amrywiaeth anhygoel o brofiadau a sgiliau newydd y mae'n rhaid iddynt eu meistroli mewn cyfnod cymharol fyr. Mae'r modiwl hwn yn archwilio heriau tyfu i fyny a'r ffyrdd gwych y mae plant yn eu goresgyn yn ogystal â mynd i'r afael â phrif bryderon cymdeithas am blant a phlentyndod. O ddefnyddio pŵer yr ymennydd i reoli symudiad eu coesau, i gyfuno synau i fynegi meddyliau a llywio'n llwyddiannus trwy reolau cymdeithasol cymhleth a chudd sy'n rheoli cyfeillgarwch, mae datblygiad plant yn antur yn llawn o ymdrechion, gwallau a dysgu. Ac mae hyn i gyd yn digwydd mewn cymdeithas sydd wedi'i chynllunio gan ac ar gyfer oedolion sydd ag awdurdod a syniadau pendant am beth ddylai plentyndod fod. Bydd y modiwl hwn yn cyflwyno'r damcaniaethau y tu ôl i sut mae plant yn meistroli'r galluoedd anhygoel hyn yn y gymdeithas hon, gan ganiatáu i fyfyrwyr werthfawrogi cwmpas a chyflymder y dysgu y mae'n rhaid i blant ei wneud i dyfu i fyny. Bydd myfyrwyr wedyn yn gallu cymhwyso'r ddamcaniaethau yma i arsylwadau o blant, gan ennill profiad o asesu datblygiad plant mewn lleoliadau byd go iawn sydd yn sgil hanfodol ar gyfer gwaith efo pobl o unrhyw oed.
Course content
Mae'r modiwl hwn yn archwilio profiad plant o dyfu i fyny yn y byd cyfoes. Mae'n nodi'r cerrig milltir yn natblygiad cynnar plentyn ac yn amlygu effaith amgylchedd y plentyn. Mae materion allweddol fel y teulu, iechyd a chyfeillgarwch yn cael eu harchwilio yng nghyd-destun pryderon cyfoes am blentyndod. Mae'r modiwl hefyd yn darparu cyfleoedd i fyfyrwyr arsylwi datblygiad plant ifanc mewn lleoliadau Blynyddoedd Cynnar priodol, gyda ffocws ar eu datblygiad gwybyddol, cymdeithasol ac emosiynol ac i drafod y rhyngweithio rhwng datblygiad a phrofiadau'r plentyn. Mae pwyslais ar: • pwysigrwydd yr amgylchedd dysgu i'w dealltwriaeth a'u datblygiad; • rôl perthnasoedd ym myd y plentyn; • y ffordd y mae plant yn dod i ddeall yr hyn sy'n iawn ac yn anghywir; • sut y caiff yr 'hunan' ei siapio a'i ddeall; • ystyried pwysigrwydd iechyd, lles a hapusrwydd; • rôl y teulu ym myd plant; • effaith materion fel tlodi, gordewdra a 'natur arallrwydd' • arsylwi ar ryngweithio plant ifanc ac ymchwilio i ddylanwad oedolion a chyfoedion ar ddatblygiad seico-gymdeithasol plant ifanc trwy astudiaethau achos a thrwy archwiliadau ymarferol ac arsylwadau mewn lleoliad perthnasol.
Mae'n orfodol i gael gwirio DBS er mwyn dilyn y modiwl hwn.
