Overall aims and purpose

Mae’r modiwl hwn yn rhoi cyflwyniad i’r prif ddadleuon damcaniaethol a’r prif feysydd o ddiddordeb ym maes Daearyddiaeth Ddynol.

  1. Datblygu dealltwriaeth o gwmpas a diffiniad Daearyddiaeth Ddynol.
  2. Darparu trosolwg ar y prif ddadleuon damcaniaethol ym maes daearyddiaeth ddynol.
  3. Cyflwyno’r prif gysyniadau a’r prosesau sy’n gysylltiedig ag ymwneud pobl â'i gilydd, a chyda’r amgylchedd maent yn byw ynddo.
  4. Cyflwyno’r cysyniad o ‘gynaliadwyedd’, a'r dadleuon sydd wedi ymddangos mewn perthynas â’r cysyniad.

Course content

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn rhoi cyflwyniad i syniadau daearyddol, yn cynnwys rhai o’r cysyniadau canlynol: globaleiddio; gofod a lleoliad; pobl a’r amgylchedd; trefoli; hunaniaeth a gwahaniaeth; poblogaeth; ymfudiad; cynaliadwyedd. Ystyrir y cysylltiad eang ac integredig rhwng pobl a lleoliad a’u hamgylchedd economaidd-gymdeithasol, gwleidyddol, diwylliannol a naturiol.

  4. Tystiolaeth gref o ddefnyddio sgiliau creadigol ac adfyfyriol. Mae hyn yn rhoi Safon Ragorol Dosbarth Un A- i A*

  5. Disgrifio cyd-destun y dadleuon am gynaliadwyedd, ac asesu cyfraniad gwahanol ddamcaniaethwyr at y dadleuon hynny.
