  • Agweddau tuag at y Gymraeg a dwyieithrwydd
  • Manteision deallusol dwyieithrwydd
  • Dyfodol y Gymraeg yn ei chyd-destun dwyieithog
  • Dysgu ail iaith fel oedolyn

Assessment Strategy

Yn gwneud defnydd sylfaenol o arddull ysgrifennu academaidd ac yn dangos gallu cyfyngedig i gyflwyno syniadau a chysyniadau perthnasol ar ffurf ysgrifenedig a llafar. Gallu eithriadol a gweledigaethol i gymharu dwyieithrwydd yn y cyd-destun Cymreig â seftyllfaoedd dwyieithog eraill.

Learning Outcomes

  • Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu adolygu, synthesu ac arsylwi, mewn dull o safon uchel, ystod eang o lenyddiaeth empirig a damcaniaethol berthnasol mewn modd beirniadol.

  • Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu arddangos dealltwriaeth uchel, eang a chywrain o wahanol fathau o sefyllfaoedd dwyieithog ac amlieithog.

  • Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu arddangos gwybodaeth uchel ac eang o amcanion, rhagdybiaethau, damcaniaethau a methodolegau sydd yn cael eu defnyddio ym maes astudio dwyieithrwydd ac amlieithrwydd, a gwybodaeth o sut a pham y cant eu defnyddio gan ymchwilwyr.

  • Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu dadansoddi data ieithyddol ar lefel uchel, gan ddefnyddio methodolegau a theori sydd yn addas ar gyfer maes dwyieithrwydd.

  • Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu ennill gwybodaeth a dealltwriaeth uchel o sefyllfa’r iaith Gymraeg a’i phobl o ran dwyieithrwydd, gan arddangos gallu i gymharu’r sefyllfa yng Nghymru â sefyllfaoedd dwyieithog tebyg ledled byd, o sawl safbwynt ac mewn modd beirniadol.
