Using AI in qualitative analysis (In-person session)
This session will provide a brief introduction to using AI (artificial intelligence) to support data analysis and interpretation. Please note that you MUST have attended Workshop I (NVivo) before attending Workshop II.
We will explore some of the practices such as AI driven auto-coding in NVivo and look at what generative AI may have to offer. Ethical considerations, how to document the use of AI transparently, and best practices for integrating AI with human interpretation in qualitative studies will be an important part of this session. Please note that this is an IN-PERSON HANDS-ON session.

Spoiler alert: Using AI to support qualitative data analysis in a meaningful and robust way still needs engagement and interpretation of data. It is not a short-cut!
