Bangor Professor’s research hits the Hong Kong media

The South China Morning Post, the leading English-language newspaper in Hong Kong, recently published two articles showcasing groundbreaking research work by Bangor Law School’s Professor Suzannah Linton, Chair of International Law and Director of the Bangor Centre for International Law.

The first article focuses on her forthcoming book with Oxford University Press, Hong Kong’s War Crimes Trials. The book studies the work of the British military tribunals in the-then British colony between 1946 and 1948, and the key international law issues raised during this period.

The second article pertains to one of the individuals whom Professor Linton interviewed for the book, the late Major Murray Ormsby, who was closely involved in a number of the aforementioned trials. The interview with Major Ormsby is part of the book.

Hong Kong’s War Crimes Trials will be published by Oxford University Press in August 2013.
