Towards a Manifesto of Inter-Species Kindness
Being Human Festival
Come along to this unique outdoor workshop exploring creative ways to understand, relate and connect to our "more-than-human" environment in the surroundings of the Menai Strait.
Following an introduction, participants will be invited to take part in a short, guided meditation. Participants will then explore and respond to the local environment through guided movements, and by interacting with natural materials, alongside members of the 'Utopias Bach' team, a local multimedia art project. The group will then come together to share their thoughts and to contribute to 'A Manifesto of Inter-Species Kindness'.
This event will be delivered in Welsh and English. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available. All ages are welcome to attend, though this event has not been specifically tailored to suit young children. Please note that this event is due to take place outdoors. Suitable clothing and footwear are advised. If possible, please bring dark red, mustard yellow and/or brown clothing. If the weather is inclement, this activity will move indoors.
"If at hand, please bring a mat, comfortable clothing and warm socks."
This event complements 'A Manifesto of Place' taking place on 12 November.
