International Year Zero*

Successful completion of the Standard XII with average of 50% or above OR Completion of the Standard XII with an average of 45%.

*International Year Zero is the first year of our 4 year International Incorporated Bachelor degree and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

International Year 1 - Business, Management and Finance

A minimum of 55% in the Standard XII school certificate from recognised central or state boards
OR completion of the Polytechnic/College of Technology Diploma (3 to 4 years in duration) is required to be considered for entry onto the International Year 1*.

*The International Year 1 is the first year of our 3 year Bachelor Degrees in Business, Management & Finance provides an intensive combination of first year university subject modules with extra study and English language skills, and is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

Undergraduate/Bachelor Degree

• 65% in all Central and State Boards (except Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh State Boards).

•  85% required for students who studied in the state boards of Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

Entry into Year 2 will be considered on a case by case basis. Our team need to check if what you have already studied matches up with our own course content.

If you do not meet the above requirements then we will consider you for entry onto the International Year Zero.

 

Postgraduate/Master Degree

• Minimum 2:2/2nd Division/50-55%/6.0 GPA
• Students with a study gap of 3 years or more will be required to provide two letters of recommendation (i.e. One Academic Reference and one employer reference).

Mature students will be considered on a case by case basis.

If you do not meet the requirements for entry onto a Masters Degree in Bangor Business School then we can consider you for entry onto *International Incorporated Masters.

*The pre-masters part of our International Incorporated Masters is taught on campus at Bangor University International College and delivered by our partner Oxford International Education Group.
 

Postraduate Research/PhD

Good grades in Bachelor degree and a Masters degree. Previous research experience is essential.

English Language Requirements

Undergraduate

• 70% in English subject for all Central and State Boards (except Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh or Himachal Pradesh).
• If less than this, IELTS is required.
• For students from Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh or Himachal Pradesh State Boards, IELTS or equivalent is mandatory.

Postgraduate

• 70% in English  (from all Central and State Boards barring Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh or Himachal Pradesh) AND a Medium of Instruction (MOI) letter, within 3 years of graduation.
• In cases that Year XII English is below 70% or not provided, MOI will not be accepted.
• If MOI older than 3 years, IELTS or equivalent required.

* Note: In such cases, candidate details will be shared with Bangor University International College which delivers the 1st year of the 4-year degree course, and Pre-Masters component of the Masters degree course in partnership with Bangor University. Candidate details will not be shared with any other third party organisations.
 

• International Year Zero: High school certificate or equivalent from your home country + IELTS 5.5 (5.5)
• International Year 1: School leaving qualification equivalent to the British school leaving qualification (A-levels / IB) + IELTS 5.5 (5.5)
• Undergraduate Courses: School leaving qualification equivalent to the British school leaving qualification (A-levels / IB) or the University may also recognise relevant professional experience of 2 years or longer for entry onto our degree programmes + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)
• Postgraduate Courses: Undergraduate / bachelor degree of equivalent standard to the British undergraduate/bachelor degree or the University may also recognise relevant professional experience of 2 years or longer for entry onto our degree programmes + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)
• PhD/Research Course: Postgraduate / Master’s Degree of equivalent standard to the British Postgraduate / Master’s Degree + IELTS 6.0 (5.5)

Applicants from some countries do NOT need to provide additional evidence of English Language ability, if previous education was with English medium of instruction. Otherwise, an IELTS overall 6.0 with 5.5 in each component or equivalent is normally required (some courses may require a higher score.
