John Jackson, Senior Planning Officer
John is responsible for the University’s risk management framework and manages the University’s corporate risk register in consultation with the Executive. He also manages the internal audit plan in liaison with the internal auditors, coordinating all management actions. Both of these roles converge at the Council’s Audit & Risk Committee, to which John is secretary. John also contributes to the development and implementation of the planning process for the University, providing support and advice in relation to strategic and business planning, and strategic approval of new programmes, for the College of Environmental Sciences and Engineering. He is also responsible for preparing the University’s annual Fee & Access Plan and chairs the Tuition Fees Sub-Group. John is the Planning representative on the Employability Strategy Group and the Student Experience Strategy Group.
