Undeb Bangor, the Students’ Union, is the voice of students and the home of student life at Bangor. Located at the Pontio centre, the Students' Union runs sports, clubs, societies and volunteering projects and is also the home of ‘Undeb Myfyrwyr Cymraeg Bangor’ (UMCB) Bangor’s Union for Welsh speaking students.
Clubs and Societies Fair
During Welcome Week the Students' Union organises a huge Freshers' Fair called Serendipity (it means happy meeting place) for you to choose from a range of opportunities and activities to make the most of your time at Bangor. There are over 170 different sports clubs, societies, volunteering projects and groups for you to sign up to – the best thing is membership of all student opportunity groups is free!
Taking part in student opportunities is a fantastic way to make friends, meet new people and try something new. It’ll also look good on your CV when the time comes to find a job. The more you do the more you get out.
