Dennis Crisp (1916-1990), one of Britain’s best known marine biologists, was instrumental in establishing Bangor’s School of Ocean Sciences and developing its worldwide influence.
"Professor Dennis J. Crisp at Bangor University: A Visionary for Global Environmental Change" was delivered by Professor Donal T. Manahan, one of Dennis’ students who has gone on to an outstanding career and now is a professor of biological sciences at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles.
