Language improvement for external companies and organisations

We also offer bespoke language improvement courses for external companies, agencies and organisations who are keen for their staff to develop their confidence when using Welsh at work. These courses are based on our programme of open courses but can be tailored to meet the specific needs of a client. We are able to deliver these courses at our purpose-built teaching room here at Canolfan Bedwyr or on-site.

We try to keep the classes small so that we can cater for each individual’s needs. The maximum per class is usually 12.

Recent clients include:

  • BBC Cymru
  • Eryri National Park
  • The Environment Agency
  • North and South Wales Justice Network

“The course was fantastic! The most useful thing was the explanation of the rules and how to use Cysgliad. The tutors were great! A very nice atmosphere – no one felt there was pressure on them.”
(Environment Agency Course, March 2012).

“A very useful course! Help with writing documents i.e. letters, posters, forms and reports, and doing so with confidence. Thank you for two practical and fun days!”
(South Wales Justice Network, June 2012).

We provide a free copy of the Language Improvement Handbook to all those who attend a language skills course.

We also offer separate training courses for CYSGLIAD.
