Module Organiser: Armelle Blin-Rolland
Overview

Nod y modiwl 40 credyd hwn sy'n para trwy'r flwyddyn yw hyrwyddo defnydd priodol o arddull a chywair ym mhob darn o waith ysgrifenedig a sicrhau bod myfyrwyr yn gallu ymdrin ag amrywiadau cywair a mynegiant idiomatig mewn modd hyderus a chywir. Trwy ddarllen testunau amrywiol a gweld strwythurau gramadegol cymhleth, disgwylir i fyfyrwyr feithrin sgiliau darllen ac ysgrifennu sy'n cyfateb i safon myfyrwyr yn eu blwyddyn olaf.

Assessment Strategy

-threshold -40-49%: Dangos medrusrwydd cyffredinol yn y sgiliau a brofir.

-good -50-69%: Dangos ystod eang o eirfa, gwybodaeth o ramadeg a medru eu mynegi eu hunain yn y sgiliau a brofir.

-excellent -70+%: Bydd yr ymgeiswyr gorau yn dangos gallu yn y sgiliau a brofir, sydd bron fel siaradwyr brodorol, gyda lefelau uchel o hyder a dawn wrth eu mynegi eu hunain. Byddant yn defnyddio¿r agweddau technegol ar yr iaith mewn ffordd sydd, fwy na heb, yn naturiol.

Learning Outcomes

  • Bydd gan y myfyrwyr eirfa ehangach mewn perthynas â'r themâu a astudir.

  • Bydd gan y myfyrwyr ymwybyddiaeth ehangach o wahanol gyweiriau'r iaith a'r mathau o fynegiant.

  • Bydd y myfyrwyr wedi cael cysylltiad â'r prosesau, yr arferion a'r syniadau sydd ynghlwm â chyfieithu.

  • Bydd y myfyrwyr yn dangos lefelau uwch o ddealltwriaeth wrth wrando, gan ddangos y gallu i ddeall y berthynas rhwng yr iaith lafar a'r iaith ysgrifenedig.

  • Bydd y myfyrwyr yn dangos meistrolaeth soffistigedig o'r Ffrangeg wrth ysgrifennu traethodau, a hynny gan ddefnyddio cywair uwch a geirfa addas.

  • Bydd y myfyrwyr yn gallu cyflwyno ac amddiffyn cyflwyniadau llafar sy'n soffistigedig o ran cynnwys ac arddull, gan ddangos meistrolaeth gadarn o'r iaith briodol fel y byddai'n cael ei siarad gan siaradwyr brodorol.

  • Bydd y myfyrwyr yn gallu cynnig cyfieithiadau sy'n fanwl-gywir ac yn dangos empathi, sef nid yn unig yn cyfleu ystyr y testun ond hefyd yn cyfleu ei naws.
