Overview

Bydd y modiwl hwn yn cynnwys dadansoddiad o raniadau cymdeithasol o fewn cymdeithas, gan ffocysu ar Gymru gyfoes. Bydd y modiwl yn cychwyn drwy gyflwyno'r myfyrwyr i rhaniadau cymdeithasol fel cysyniad cymdeithasegol, cyn symud ymlaen i drafod themâu megis, dosbarth cymdeithasol, rhyw, ethnigrwydd, crefydd ac oedran. Mae'r modiwl hefyd yn edych ar rhai o ganlyniadau rhaniadau cymdeithasol, megis tlodi ac anghyfartaledd economaidd, iechyd ac disgwyliad oes, trosedd, cyrhaeddiad addysgol a chyflogaeth. Defnyddir ystadegau gwladol i amlygu rhai o'r canlyniadau hyn, gan ofyn i fyfyrwyr adfydyrio ar brofiadau eu cymunedau nhw o rhaniadau cymdeithasol, a'r anghydraddoldeb cymdeithasol a all ddeillio ohonynt.
