Overall aims and purpose

Mae'r modiwl hwn yn gymar i Cyfansoddi a Chelfydydd Sonig A. Nod y modiwl hwn yw arfogi myfyrwyr â'r wybodaeth a'r ddealltwriaeth sylfaenol o gyfansoddi gan ddefnyddio offerynnau, lleisiau a thechnoleg. Bydd y myfyrwyr yn dysgu sut i gyfansoddi cerddoriaeth a chreu celf sonig mewn ffordd strwythuredig a thywysedig, gan ddefnyddio enghreifftiau o weithiau arwyddocaol ac ymagweddau creadigol o'r 20fed a'r 21ain ganrif. Byddant yn archwilio ystod o ddulliau cyfansoddiadol, dulliau esthetig a chymwysiadau technolegol, ac yn ystyried egwyddorion cyfansoddi harmoni, rhythm, datblygiad motifig a strwythur. Byddant yn ymgymryd â chyfres o brosiectau gan ddatblygu eu gwybodaeth am offeryniaeth a cherddorfaeth, ysgrifennu lleisiol, a meddalwedd a chaledwedd cerddoriaeth. Bydd y modiwl yn darparu'r sylfaen sy'n ofynnol i symud ymlaen i fodiwlau ail flwyddyn sy'n archwilio cyfansoddiad a chreadigrwydd sonig ymhellach.

Course content

Bydd y modiwl yn canolbwyntio ar ystod eang o ddulliau creadigol, technegol ac ymarferol penodol:

- Dulliau creadigol (er enghraifft, Argraffiadaeth, Neoclassicism, Minimalism, Serialism, cerddoriaeth Acousmatic, Gitch, Plunderphonics, cyfansoddiad Soundscape, electroneg fyw)

- Dulliau technegol (er enghraifft, cytgord, rhythm, alaw, ffurf, gwead, recordio, golygu, trosi sain)
