Bydd y modiwl hwn yn:
- gwerthuso’n feirniadol y traddodiad cerddorol yng Nghymru’r Ugeinfed Ganrif o safbwynt hanesyddol a chymdeithasol;
- dangos ymwybyddiaeth o gerddoriaeth glasurol, cerddoriaeth boblogaidd, a cherddoriaeth draddodiadol o Gymru yn yr 20fed ganrif;
- trafod y gydberthynas gymhleth/ cydberthnasau cymhleth a geir rhwng traddodiadau gwerin, poblogaidd a chelfyddydol yng Nghymru’r 20fed ganrif;
- profi ymwybyddiaeth o offer methodolegol ar gyfer dealltwriaeth feirniadol a gwahaniaethol o hanesyddiaeth cerddoriaeth.
