Overview

Dysgir y modiwl drwy gyfres o diwtorialau (cyfarfodydd wyneb yn wyneb rhwng y myfyriwr a’r tiwtor) a drefnir fel arfer ar gais y myfyriwr, neu weithiau ar gais y tiwtor. Bydd myfyrwyr yn ymghynghori â’u tiwtoriaid i ddeall a fydd cyfnodau pryd na fydd un o’r ddau ar gael (yn ystod yr haf). Defnyddir cyfarfodydd cynnar i drafod syniadau, adnoddau a methodolegau, a bydd myfyrwyr hefyd yn derbyn hyfforddiant ynglŷn a sgiliau ymchwil, i’w paratoi’n drylwyr ar gyfer y gwaith ffurfiol o gynllunio a chynhyrchu traethawd ymchwil estynedig yn y maes dan sylw (gwneir hyn gan fanteisio ar ddarpariaeth bwnc-benodol yn yr Ysgol(ion) p/berthnasol). Yn y cyfarfodydd hwyrach trafodir drafftiau o’r traethawd ei hun. Gellir trafod dros yr ebost yn lle cyfarfod wyneb yn wyneb os cytunir yn achlysurol mai hyn yw’r ffordd fwyaf effeithiol o weithio. Bydd nifer y tiwtorialau yn amrywio yn ôl amgylchiadau myfyrwyr unigol; cynghorir nifer o ddeg, ond nid yw hyn o reidrwydd yn uchafswm. Bydd myfyrwyr yn gallu dilyn ymchwil i unrhyw feysydd sy’n berthnasol i faes ‘Y Celtiaid’, a chaiff y gwaith ei oruchwylio gan diwtor gydag arbenigeddau priodol.

-threshold -C/50%: Yn dangos gallu i weithio’n annibynnol ac ysgrifennu’n feirniadol; yn crynhoi ysgolheictod perthnasol mewn maes; yn medru adnabod y gwrth-ddadleuon mwyaf amlwg i’r ddadl a gyflwynir; yn nodi’r rhan fwyaf o’r ffynonellau yn gywir; yn cyflwyno safbwynt ac yn dadlau yn glir ac yn dangos gallu i strwythuro trafodaeth estynedig ac arbenigol a’i chynllunio’n rhesymegol gan ddangos gafael ar dermau technegol a geirfa’r ddisgyblaeth. Medru ysgrifennu Cymraeg sydd gan fwyaf yn gywir.

-good -B/60%: Yn dangos gallu da i weithio’n annibynnol a gallu da i ysgrifennu’n feirniadol: yn llwyddo i gyflwyno barn bersonol, annibynnol a chytbwys er nad yw bob tro yn archwilio neu yn adnabod eu harwyddocâd; yn dangos dealltwriaeth feirniadol o’r ysgolheictod perthnasol mewn maes; yn cyflwyno safbwynt ac yn dadlau yn glir ac yn rhesymegol. Dangos gafael dda ar dermau technegol a geirfa’r ddisgyblaeth a dangos gafael dda ar gystrawen a theithi’r Gymraeg.

-excellent -A/70%: Dangos gallu datblygedig i weithio’n annibynnol ac i ysgrifennu’n feirniadol; gwaith o safon y gellid (gyda mân newidiadau) ei gyhoeddi mewn cylchgrawn arbenigol perthnasol; yn arddangos dealltwriaeth feirniadol o ysgolheictod perthnasol ac yn cyflwyno barn aeddfed a dadlennol yng nghyd-destun yr ysgolheictod hwnnw. Yn cyflwyno a datblygu dadl estynedig, yn glir, yn rhesymegol ac yn gydlynus; yn dangos gallu datblygedig i drefnu data ar ffurf nodiadau a llyfryddiaeth; yn dangos gafael sicr ar dermau technegol a geirfa’r ddisgyblaeth; yn dangos gafael sicr ar gystrawen a theithi’r Gymraeg.

  • Medru dewis methodoleg neu fethodolegau sy’n briodol i’r pwnc / pynciau dan sylw, a chymhwyso honno / y rheiny yn gywir.

  • Medru fframio damcaniaethau’n fedrus, a’u pwyso a’u mesur yn sgil gwrth-ddadleuon a thystiolaeth groes.

  • Medru strwythuro dadl gymhleth ar ffurf traethawd, gan ddefnyddio ac ymgorffori ystod o dystiolaeth gynradd ac eilaidd yn argyhoeddiadol a chywir.

  • Medru ysgrifennu traethawd academaidd yn unol â chonfensiynau ffurfiol y maes dan sylw.
