Module MSC-1020:
Ymarferion Biofeddygol

Ymarferion Biofeddygol 2024-25
MSC-1020
2024-25
North Wales Medical School
Module - Semester 2
20 credits
Module Organiser: Mathew Jones
Overview

Bydd amrywiaeth o ymarferion labordy yn cael ei gynnwys i ddatblygu hyfedredd yn y labordy a sgiliau dadansoddi. Bydd sesiynau labordy yn cynnwys technegau megis sbectroffotometreg, dadansoddiad microsgopig o feinwe fiolegol, adnabod microb, PCR ac electrofforesis. Bydd y sgiliau trosglwyddadwy cysylltiedig fel cyfathrebu gwyddonol, casglu data a thechnegau dadansoddi data meintiol yn cael eu datblygu ar y cyd â'r rhaglen ymarferol.

Yn ogystal, bydd myfyrwyr yn cael y cyfle i ymweld â labordy clinigol. Nod yr ymweliad hwn yw rhoi cipolwg i fyfyrwyr ar sut mae gwyddoniaeth biofeddygol yn helpu diagnosis a thriniaeth cleifion.

Assessment Strategy

-trothwy -Categori D (40-49%): Dylai fod gan fyfyriwr trothwy wybodaeth sylfaenol o'r ffeithiau hanfodol a chysyniadau allweddol y testunau a gyflwynir yn y modiwl. Gallu sylfaenol i drefnu a chyflwyno gwybodaeth, a dylai allu mynd i'r afael â chwestiynau gyda ffeithiau perthnasol a dealltwriaeth o'r pwnc dan sylw. Dylai'r myfyriwr allu dangos a deall y defnydd o sgiliau labordy sylfaenol. Gall cyfrifiadau labordy fod yn anghyflawn neu'n anghywir, gall unedau fod ar goll. Efallai bod ffigurau a thablau ar goll neu efallai nad ydynt wedi'u labelu'n gywir.

-da -Categori B (60%-69%): Mae gan fyfyriwr da ddealltwriaeth drylwyr o'r dulliau a ddefnyddir yn y gwaith arbrofol ac yn arddangos lefel hyderus o sgiliau labordy. Mae'r adroddiadau labordy yn crynhoi'r gwaith ymarferol a'r theori sylfaenol yn dda, ond gallant fod yn rhy dechnegol a/neu'n cynnwys rhai datganiadau anghywir. Dilynir datganiadau gan esboniad a chyd-destun. Mae'r ffigurau a'r tablau wedi'u hanodi'n llawn, ond efallai mai briff yw'r capsiynau. Mae'r rhan fwyaf o gyfrifiadau labordy yn gywir ac yn cynnwys unedau. Prin yw'r dystiolaeth o wybodaeth a gafwyd y tu allan i'r ddarlith a'r cynnwys ymarferol a ddarparwyd. Defnyddir cyfeirnodi arddull Harvard yn gywir.

-rhagorol -Categori A (70%-100%): Dealltwriaeth dda iawn o'r dulliau a ddefnyddiwyd yn yr ymarferion. Mae'r myfyriwr yn hyderus a thrylwyr iawn wrth wneud y gwaith arbrofol. Mae'r adroddiadau labordy yn hunanesboniadol yn dilyn dadl resymegol ac wedi'u hategu gan ffigurau a thablau da gan gynnwys capsiynau llawn gwybodaeth. Mae'r cyfrifiadau labordy yn gywir ac yn cynnwys unedau. Mae tystiolaeth o wybodaeth a gafwyd y tu allan i'r ddarlith a ddarperir a'r cynnwys ymarferol. Mae cyfeiriadau (arddull Harvard) yn berthnasol ac wedi'u cynnwys yn gywir. Mae tystiolaeth o feddwl yn feirniadol a darllen ehangach yn hanfodol ar gyfer marciau A+ ac A*.

-lefel arall-Categori C (50-59%): Dylai fod gan fyfyriwr llai ymgysylltiol ddigon o wybodaeth i ddarparu gwybodaeth gywir ond cyfyngedig am y ffeithiau hanfodol a chysyniadau allweddol y testunau a gyflwynir yn y modiwl. Dylai'r myfyriwr ddangos gallu cadarn i drefnu a chyflwyno gwybodaeth a dylai allu mynd i'r afael â chwestiynau gyda ffeithiau perthnasol a dealltwriaeth o'r pwnc dan sylw. Yn aml mae datganiadau cywir yn cael eu cynnwys ond heb eu cefnogi gan y cyd-destun. Dylai'r myfyriwr allu dangos a deall y defnydd o sgiliau labordy. Mae cyfrifiadau labordy yn gywir ar y cyfan a dim ond rhai unedau a allai fod ar goll. Mae ffigurau a thablau wedi'u cynnwys, ond efallai eu bod wedi'u labelu'n anghyflawn. Gall capsiynau fod yn rhy fyr. Gall tystlythyrau fod ar goll neu fod cyfeiriadau anghywir atynt. Nid oes tystiolaeth o wybodaeth a gasglwyd y tu allan i'r ddarlith a'r cynnwys ymarferol a ddarparwyd.

Learning Outcomes

  • Cadw cofnod o'r gwaith a wnaed mewn arddull ysgrifennu gwyddonol briodol.

  • Dangos dealltwriaeth o ddefnyddio technegau moleciwlaidd i ddelio ag amrywiaeth o gwestiynau biolegol

  • Darganfod gwybodaeth o lenyddiaeth, ei gwerthuso'n feirniadol a'i syntheseiddio.

  • Dilyn protocol ysgrifenedig arbrofol a chofnodi a phrosesu data arbrofol, gan gynnwys dadansoddiad ystadegol priodol
