Bangor University PGR forward planning

Annwyl Bawb,

Mae'r Ysgol Ddoethurol wedi datblygu dogfennau blaengynllunio a phroses er mwyn i ni allu asesu effeithiau Covid-19 ar bob prosiect ôl-raddedig ar draws y Brifysgol.

Atodir trosolwg sgematig o sut bydd y broses yn gweithio.

Mae angen i fyfyrwyr ôl-raddedig a’u goruchwylwyr greu blaengynllun clir a manwl am yr ôl-radd drwy ddefnyddio’r dogfennau sydd ynghlwm.

Dylai’r myfyrwyr ôl-raddedig a’u goruchwylwyr drafod y prosiect a defnyddio’r ‘ddogfen tystiolaeth blaengynllun’ i gofnodi’r effeithiau ar eu prosiect, darparu tystiolaeth fanwl neu gyfiawnhad i gefnogi’r ffordd a gynigir ymlaen, ac unrhyw gamau gweithredu y gallai fod eu hangen i liniaru’r effeithiau hyn. Dylai’r myfyriwr ôl-raddedig a’r goruchwyliwr wedyn lenwi’r daenlen sydd ynghlwm â gwybodaeth a chamau gweithredu allweddol o’r ddogfen hon.

Dylid anfon y ‘ddogfen tystiolaeth blaengynllun’ a’r daenlen at yr Ysgol Ddoethurol (pgr@bangor.ac.uk) ac Arweinydd Ôl-raddedig eich ysgol (mae'r manylion cyswllt yma : /doctoral-school/PGRDirectors.php.en).

Bydd cofnodion ar gyfer pob myfyriwr ôl-raddedig yn cael eu casglu mewn meistr daenlen er mwyn i ni gael darlun cyflawn ar gyfer yr Ysgol / Coleg, ac wedyn, bydd modd adnabod a gweithredu camau gweithredu priodol.

Dylid hefyd llwytho’r ‘ddogfen tystiolaeth a'r blaengynllun’ i fyny fel atodiad fel cofnod/trafodaeth ar gyfer eich cyfarfod nesaf i adolygu cynnydd y myfyriwr ôl-raddedig.

Pan fydd angen asesiad risg oherwydd amserlen newydd y gwaith, llenwch y ddogfen ‘asesiad risg prosiect Covid-19’.

Mae’r holl ddogfennau ar gael yma : PGR forward plan docs

Nodwch y diwygiadau diweddar i reoliadau Ôl-raddedig yn y ‘rheoliadau Force Majeure’ newydd : /regulations/regulations/reg22.php.cy  : Gweler Adran D : Rhaglenni Ymchwil.

Dear All,

The Doctoral School has developed forward planning documents and a process to enable us to assess the impacts of Covid-19 on every PGR project across the University.

Please find attached a schematic overview of how the process will work.

PGRs and their supervisors need to generate a clear and detailed forward plan about the PGR degree using the documents attached.

PGRs and supervisors should discuss the project and use the ‘forward plan evidence document’ to record the impacts on their project, provide detailed evidence or justification to support the proposed way forward, and any actions that may be needed to mitigate these impacts. The key information and actions from this document should then be populated into the attached spreadsheet by the PGR and supervisor.

The ‘forward plan evidence document’ and spreadsheet should be sent to the Doctoral School (pgr@bangor.ac.uk) and your school’s PGR Lead (contacts here : /doctoral-school/PGRDirectors.php.en).

Entries for all PGRs will be collated in a master spreadsheet so that we have a complete School / College picture, and subsequently, appropriate actions can then be identified and initiated.

The ‘forward plan and evidence document’ should also be uploaded as an attachment for record/discussion at your next annual PGR’s progress review meeting.

Where a risk assessment is necessary on account of the new scheduling of work, please complete the ‘Covid19 project risk assessment’ document.

All of the documents can be found here :  PGR forward plan docs

Please note recent amendments to PGR regulations within the new ‘Force Majeure regulations’ : /regulations/regulations/reg22.php.en  : see Section D : Research Programmes.
