Project Objectives
Learning Technology Labs [LTL] to allow ideas developed by teachers / lecturers to feed into high-tech outcomes.
Learning Labs to generate discussions and promotion of ideas around 360-degree video, green screen and Artificial Intelligence technology.
Recruit research assistants to include one at each of eight HEIs to allow dedicated time to work with WCLD and school colleagues in the Learning Technology Labs.
International Expert group and develop a partnership with PXL (Belgium) to support developments in 360 video, / Greenscreen technology / Virtual and Augmented Reality / Artificial Intelligence.
WCLD Artificial Intelligence (AI) Response
- Videos: Develop three videos focusing on Artificial Intelligence and how it can be used critically in teaching and learning.

Examples of how learners are using Artificial Intelligence in lessons.
- Labs: Facilitate Learning Labs and Learning Technology Labs to generate discussion and promotion of ideas around Artificial Intelligence.
- Toolbox: Produce short videos on relevant, useful and accessible Artificial Intelligence tools.
- Pilot: Facilitate a Piloting Learning Lab to provide specific support to meet the needs and challenges of practitioners related to Artificial Intelligence.
Learning Technology Labs (LTLs)
- Teachers / lecturers will have a supported space to ‘play’ with these technologies.
- Encouraged to take ‘risks’, explore ideas and co-construct potential solutions.
- The aim of this is to demonstrate what is possible with the technology and encourage practitioners to begin to implement this into their learning design process
