We are delighted to welcome you to the Future AI Conference, a major joint event between NVIDIA and the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Bangor University. This is a University run event that is open to researchers, members of the public, local companies, etc. but registration is required.
The conference will take place during Reading Week, on Wednesday 4 and Thursday 5 March 2026, and will be hosted in Dean Street, Bangor University, across rooms including MLT, SLT, and the student common room. Ending with a student-facing hackathon (details tbc) from Friday 6 March to Saturday 7th March.
Across the two, Future AI Conference, days, the event will bring together:
- Speakers from NVIDIA
- Training from NVIDIA
- Colleagues from across Bangor University
- Local dignitaries and SMEs
- A broad range of perspectives on the future of AI in our region and beyond
The programme will include talks on LLMs, applied AI, and current AI projects across the University, alongside forward-looking discussions on where the field is heading. Alongside specialist training delivered by NVIDIA, such as LLM-focused sessions and covering topics such as digital twins and environmental science (details to be confirmed). The event is supported by the UKRI Get Into AI project. So will require free registration.
