Robert Minhinnick is an award-winning poet, novelist, short story writer, essayist, translator and editor from south Wales. He has recently published Alcatraz, English translations of contemporary Welsh poetry.
Laura Wainwright is a poet, musician and artist from Newport, whose debut poetry collection The Storm's Flora won the Wales Book of the Year Poetry Award in 2026.
Robert and Laura will read and discuss their work across art forms at this event, including Thrall, a jointly-authored collection of poems and paintings.
All are welcome at this free event, which is supported by the Bangor Fund in celebration of the 200th anniversary of the Telford Suspension Bridge.
