Executive Education Graduation Summer 2026

The Albert Gubay Business School at Bangor University celebrated the success of its latest Executive Education graduates this week, with learners from the Chartered Banker MBA (CBMBA) and Financial Crime and Compliance MBA (FCCMBA) programmes achieving dual awards and prestigious professional recognition.

Graduates of the CBMBA were awarded Chartered Banker status through the Chartered Banker Institute, while FCCMBA graduates received the Financial Intelligence Specialist designation in partnership with ManchesterCF. These achievements reflect both academic excellence and professional competence, reinforcing the strong industry relevance of Bangor’s executive education provision.

The awards were presented during a special ceremony attended by senior representatives from both professional bodies. Guests included Matthew Rawlings, Director of Education and Membership at the Chartered Banker Institute, and Lisa Jones, Director of Academic Partnerships at ManchesterCF Financial Intelligence.

A number of graduates received additional recognition for outstanding performance. Olivia Burnett was awarded best overall CBMBA student, as well as Best Student in Ethics, awarded in absentia. Dave Garcia was also recognised for his excellence in ethics, receiving the Best Student in Ethics award (in absentia). On the FCCMBA programme, Giampiero Aversa was named best overall student.
