Stress Awareness 2025
This year’s Stress Awareness Week theme, set by the International Stress Management Association, is Optimising Employee Wellbeing through Strategic Stress Management.
The University seeks to provide a safe and healthy working environment for its staff and recognises the importance of fostering psychological wellbeing, including through the effective management of stress at work.
Colleagues in Human Resources recently launched a new Stress Management Toolkit for use by staff and line managers. In recognition of International Stress Awareness Week, all staff are encouraged to access and utilise the resources contained in the toolkit, which can be found here.
Accompanying the toolkit are regular training courses for line managers called Completing a Stress Assessment and Support Plan. These one-hour online sessions are available to book via the ‘Learn’ tab on iTrent, the next two session will be held in English on Thursday, 13 November and Friday, 5 December, and in Welsh on Tuesday, 13 January.
If you have any questions about the Stress Management Toolkit please contact your designated HR Officer or Anna Quinn, Health & Wellbeing Project Manager.
