Commonwealth Shared and Vice-Chancellor Scholarship Winners presentation

On the 29th October, in the prestigious Council Chamber in the Main Arts building, the Global Engagement Office hosted a Scholarship presentation afternoon for those international students who were awarded the Commonwealth Shared and the Vice-Chancellor Scholarships to study in September 2025.

We were delighted to celebrate their achievements at the presentation ceremony where Professor Andrew Edwards, Deputy Vice-Chancellor presented each student with a certificate and a special Bangor gift bag, complete with our famous dragon!

A total of 8 Commonwealth Shared scholars from Kenya and Uganda attended the ceremony, along with students from Pakistan and South Africa who were awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship, valued at £10,000.

We wish all our new scholars every success on their academic journey at Bangor University.
