Caroline K. Rushingwa is Deputy Director of International Recruitment at Bangor University and an Executive Board Member of BUILA, where she contributes to shaping international higher education strategy at a sector level.
A multilingual, multi-award-winning change agent, Caroline holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Warwick and brings over two decades of experience spanning international education, diplomacy and trade. She has worked with institutions and organisations including the University of Warwick, Coventry University, Study Group, the United Nations, the Tony Elumelu Foundation and the Alliance of Democracies Foundation.
Having studied and worked across the UK, France, USA, Poland, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, Caroline brings a lived understanding of what it means to navigate international education as both a professional and a student; an experience that consistently informs her focus on advancing access to education and building lasting bridges among nations and institutions.
