Patrick Allsop, MEEB PhD researcher, has been awarded funding from the NERC Environmental Omics Facility (NEOF) Visitor Centre to support research on the endangered Zanzibar red colobus monkey where they will carry out SNP-based genomic analyses at the Sheffield research centre. This work will help reveal how patterns of kinship vary across anthropogenic landscapes and contribute to ongoing conservation efforts.
