Open Sessions / Come and Meet Us!

Come and meet the CMRP team on one of our open sessions. This is a chance to find out more about our teacher training options and find out which course is right for you.

Bangor is in North Wales, which was recently named one of the world’s best regions by Lonely Planet, if you are travelling up for the open day - why not make a weekend of it and visit our beautiful mountains and beaches?

Why not sign up to our newsletter to stay in touch. Click here.

Mindfulness Open Days 2020 (now online!)

Due to COVID-19, the in-person open days have been cancelled, so we have arranged three online open days for the Masters in mindfulness course and Teacher Training Pathway in 2020, one on 27th June. Come and meet the director of the CMRP (Dr Rebecca Crane) and the director of the masters course (Dr Gemma Griffith) to find out more about the masters course, and the mindfulness teacher training on offer and meet others who are interested in training also. All open  days start at 2pm and we will finish about 4pm.

Applications are currently open for the masters programme until the 16th August 2020. The masters in mindfulness programme will be running next year, and, because of the coronavirus, will likely start online on the dates planned (see timetable) and continue that way until it is safe to meet in person. For more information on this, see the prospectus.

We host these open day sessions through zoom, and it is very easy to set up an account if you do not already have one here https://zoom.us/. When you are ready to join the online session, simply click on the link next to the meeting you wish to join about 5 mins before the session starts. All the below meeting links are unique so do make sure you click on the one next to the meeting you wish to join. There is no need to register for the online sessions – just join us on the day.

  • Thursday 4th June – 2pm to 4pm  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/85693060114
  • Saturday 27th June – 2pm to 4pm  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86454006929
  • Friday 24th July – 2pm to 4 pm  https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88965040524

We will begin and end the sessions with a mindfulness practice together, and explore both the Masters programme, our individual training retreats and workshops, and the Teacher Training Pathway from our linked organisation, the Mindfulness Network. There will also be opportunities for you to ask questions and chat to CMRP staff and each other. Look forward to meeting you!

Free Online Lunchtime sessions

We offer online open sessions each month - below are some dates where you can simply log on and connect with one of our CMRP team to have a short mindfulness practice and, if you wanted to stay on, to find out more about the Masters or Teacher Training Pathway (we recommend that you read the information on this website so you know the basics of what we offer before joining – although all welcome) and to ask any questions you may have. If you just fancy joining us for the online mindfulness lunchtime practice, you are most welcome.
