Proud Moments at ICBT’Oxford 2024!
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding participation of two of our doctoral researchers, Khatera Naseri and Esther Fiattor, at the International Conference on Business and Technology (ICBT’Oxford 2024), held at the University of Oxford in November 2024.
Khatera Naseri presented her research on:
National Culture Accounting Conservatism and Dividend Policy: An Empirical Study of EU Listed Companies
Khatera also contributed to the success of the conference by serving on the organizing team, gaining valuable behind-the-scenes experience.
Esther Fiattor presented her paper on:
Board Gender Diversity and Environmental and Social Performance in The UK: The Role of Female Directors
Her insightful work earned her the Best Paper Award—a testament to her dedication and academic excellence. also made a strong impression with her presentation and played a key role in supporting the event logistics, welcoming delegates and assisting at the registration desk. Her active engagement and professionalism added great value to the conference experience.
Both students acknowledged the incredible support from their supervisors, Prof. Aziz Jaafar and Dr. Danial Hemmings, and expressed deep gratitude to Prof. Khaled Hussainey for his mentorship and encouragement throughout their academic journeys.
