Postgraduate Open Days
If you’re interested in studying a postgraduate course at Bangor University, you can attend our Postgraduate Open Days, which are held each April and November, or you’re welcome to visit us on one of our General Open Days.
The next Postgraduate Open Day will be held on Wednesday 6 November 2019.
Come along to find out more about our Masters and PhD courses and to visit our campus and accommodation. You can also meet staff and find out about funding.
This event is open to both current Bangor University students and people from outside the University who are interested in studying with us.
Programme of the day:
12:30pm – Arrival and registration (Main University Building, Prichard-Jones Hall)

12:30pm–1:30pm – Postgraduate Courses Fair (drop-in event, PJ Hall)
A chance to have an initial chat with students/staff from academic departments and support services in our main hall (refreshments provided)
1:30pm – Presentation: Postgraduate Study and Funding (Main Arts Lecture Theatre)
Hear about the Bangor postgraduate student experience and get advice on postgraduate funding
1:30pm – Presentation for international students (Rathbone building)
Information from the international perspective. Room 325, International Education Centre, Rathbone Building,
2:00–3:30pm – Visit your intended academic department
Take a trip to your proposed department of study for a more in-depth insight into your prospective course
3:30pm: Accommodation tours (departing regularly from PJ Hall)
