Andrew Leavers – Computer Science
Andrew from Lancaster is currently in his third year studying Computer Science. During his second year he took part in the Enterprise by Design scheme
I took part in Enterprise by Design last year. You get teamed up in groups where everyone brings their own unique skill to the table. You get given a brief from the real world and asked to come up with a solution in your team.
John Hanley – Geography
John Francis Hanley, 20 from Stratford-Upon-Avon is currently in his third year studying Geography at Bangor.
I've been involved with Enactus Bangor, a social enterprise group that operates in many universities across the world. It taught us all so much about negotiating as well as combining entrepreneurship with realism.
Kathryn Howard – Electronic Engineering
Kathryn Howard is a 24-year-old Electronic Engineering graduate from Cornwall. During her time at Bangor, Kathryn took part in Bangor Employability Award
Through the Bangor Employability Award I have become much better at time management and handling stress and pressures. It put me in different types of situations, which allowed me to become more flexible with how I handle new challenges and different types of people.
Benjamin Simmonds – Financial Economics
Benjamin Simmonds, from Ashford in Kent is studying Financial Economics.
The University offers great opportunities to develop skills through the Bangor Career and Employability office. I got involved in: Flux, Enterprise by Design and the University Business Challenge.
