Fungus Foray
Friends of Treborth Botanic Garden
The mycota (or ‘fungus flora’) of the botanic garden is one of the best known in North Wales and fungus forays have been held there for over thirty years. You don’t need to be an expert to marvel at the sheer diversity of toadstools, brackets, puffballs, jelly fungi and stinkhorns that turn up on these forays.
Join our traditional Saturday morning wild mushroom hunt through Treborth Botanic Garden with identification workshops run by local experts, fungal competitions and delicious refreshments.
No booking required.
Suggested donation £5 on the door.
Free parking onsite at the sports field.
