Executive Education:

Bangor Business School’s Executive Education offer a range of innovative distance learning programmes. All modules on the Chartered Banker MBA and Financial Crime & Compliance MBA are available to study as a standalone module.

Aimed at mid-career professionals working in the financial services industry or regulation. Entry consideration will be given to individuals with minimal experience or qualifications.

Postgraduate Credit Bearing Modules 

Medru is a collaboration project in North Wales between Bangor University, Coleg Cambria, and The Open University. Aimed at providing learners with the opportunity to achieve valuable industry 4.0 technical skills and knowledge, it will help to fill a skills gap in industry. Our combined expertise in industry and education means we’re perfectly placed to equip people and businesses with the skills they need both now and for the future. The ambition is for Medru to offer Industry 4.0 training across the whole of North Wales, supporting businesses and people in their aspirations, and creating a pipeline of talent for the future. This will be initially based on the nine pillars of Industry 4.0 –

Languages for All offers a range of evening classes in five languages:

Welsh course for beginners introducing vocabulary, basic language patterns and everyday phrase. The emphasis is on spoken Welsh. These courses are held in communities across Gwynedd, Anglesey, Conwy, and online at various times to suit your needs.

Over the last 40 years Bangor University has developed a structured and effective programme for adult learners of Welsh. Tens of thousands of students have benefited from the combination of carefully graded courses, highly experienced and committed tutors and first-class back-up services. Welsh other level courses include Entry level 2, foundation level, intermediate, higher level 1, 2 and 3. We also have a tailor-made course for new Welsh speakers who have completed Uwch level. The general aim of the courses is to develop speakers' skills to confidently use the Welsh language.
