Bringing Characters to Life: A Journey into Chinese Opera Masks!

What a joy it was to bring people of all ages together for our colourful and creative workshop, Where Colour Meets Character: The Art of Chinese Opera Masks!

Led by the wonderfully talented Yipeng Yao, participants explored the rich meanings behind traditional Chinese opera mask designs and had great fun painting their own to take home. As part of the experience, they also created their very own Beijing Opera characters, adding a personal and imaginative touch to the tradition.
