Celebrating Success: North Wales Students Win Top Prizes at UK Chinese Bridge Competition!

We are thrilled to share the wonderful news that two students from North Wales have achieved top honours at the UK Final of the Chinese Bridge Mandarin Speaking Competition.

Lily Braiden from Ysgol Eirias won First Place in the Intermediate Plus category, while Niki Scherer from Ysgol Friars secured Third Place in the Intermediate category.

This is an outstanding achievement and a true reflection of the students’ commitment, enthusiasm and talent. We warmly congratulate both Lily and Niki on their success and extend our sincere thanks and appreciation to their tutor, Yuanyuan Luo, for her dedication, encouragement and expert teaching.

Their accomplishments highlight the strength and impact of Mandarin learning in our region, and we are extremely proud to see their hard work recognised at a national level.
